Program Basic control of typographic techniques with moveable types in what concerns manual composition, setting and printing: Handling of Typometry; Handling of the technical language and techniques of typography; Handling of typographic composition in terms of legibility and creativity; Conceptual and visual involvement in terms of legibility and creativity; Handling the typing press and the whole process of printing; Objectives: to develop and deepen technical and artistic skills; Learn to establish a correct hierarchy as regards information through the use of adequate graphic syntax; Learn how to use letter as image; Learn how to adequately use typometry in the proposed typographic exercises; Make use of the more adequate font as regards the object to be conceived.
