Program Exercises aimed at the development of the students’ capacities for representation and expression and providing a deeper knowledge of the materials used in drawing: India ink, gouache, charcoal and graphite.
Issues to be dealt with: contour, line, stain; covering distance and describing in drawing; contrast and definition of light and shadow; volume, representation of figures, surfaces and textures; space representation: near and far; the human figure.
The course will include one session of live model drawing.
